About NanoSen

Our Story

Founded in 2026 by Dr Tapas Sen, and was created to address the challenges in UK university sector due to the documented lack of interest on STEM subjects among young generations. As universities and schools faced increasing challenges in delivering practical, inspiring science programmes, NanoSen set out to bridge that gap, bringing university-standard nanotechnology into classrooms, facilitating student internships, and providing expert consultancy to academic institutions worldwide.

Mission & Vision

By 2030, the company will become the first of its kind to empower the next generation of scientists through accessible, high quality magnetic bead–based educational kits and research tools. From GCSE and A level learners to early career and established researchers, we aim to catalyse global innovation by fostering hands on learning, mentoring, and building collaborative partnerships with universities and research institutions worldwide.

Dr. Tapas Sen, Founder & CEO
A leading voice in nanoscience and materials chemistry, Dr. Sen has spent over three decades advancing research and education across the UK and beyond. His work focuses on applying magnetic nanoparticle technology to real-world challenges in healthcare, environmental science, and educational innovation.

As an award-winning academic and educator, Dr. Sen’s passion lies in inspiring young scientists and making advanced research tools accessible to all.
